2008 Results
February 15 & 16 -
Our 2008 Season started off at North Florida
Speedway. Friday night there was a twelve car count.
After qualifying and heat races the #15 car started the 25
lap feature in the fifth place and finished seventh.
Saturday night was a better night for the #15 car.
There was a fifteen car count. After qualifying and heat
races the #15 started the 30 lap feature in tenth and
finished with a hard earned 6th place finish.

February 29 -
The #15 car traveled to Ocala Speedway for the
points season opener for the United Dirt Latemodel
Challenge Series. With a large 45 car count field on hand
for the 40 lap feature. 26 cars started the feature with the
#15 in 25th position. With only 3 cautions the action was
intense and the #15 had a hard earned 16th place finish.
Congratulations to the United Dirt Latemodel
Challenge Series for having a successful season opener
at Ocala Speedway.

Clewiston, Fl.! 3-8-08
We also received the Hard Charger award!!
March 8 -
We made the long 6 1/2 haul to the bull ring style
race track at New Hendry County Speedway in
Clewiston, Fl for the UDLMCS. Another good car count of
38 cars.
The #15 drew a bad "pill" to start the fifth heat
race last. Moving up one position to finish the six lap
heat. Had to go to the B main starting sixth, after lap five
#15 just tipped a cone while passing for 2nd place in
turns 1&2 and it went flying on to the track. That brought
out a caution sending the #15 to the rear. With seven
laps left the #15 came from 10th to third to make the
"Feature"!! The #15 started twenty second out of twenty
seven to finish 11th.
The next UDLMCS race will be April 5 at East Bay
Raceway Park.

March 22-
#15 loaded up and went to a regular Saturday
night show at North Florida Speedway. There were
eleven late models on hand for the twenty five lap
feature. The #15 fought a loose race car all night for a
fourth place finish.
Rocket on over to East Bay on April 5 for the UDLMCS!
April 5-
The UDLMCS race scheduled for this weekend at
East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa was cancelled due to
rain. Rescheduled for April 26th.
Rocket on over to North Florida Speedway April 12th for
a regular Saturday night show!
April 12-
With rain coming down hard in Valdosta the #15
loaded up and headed to sunny Florida for a regular
Saturday night show at North Florida Speedway. Perfect
weather for the twenty latemodels to dual it out for the
night. The #15 started the feature ninth and finished with
a respectable third place.
Rocket on over to East Alabama Motor Speedway
April 19th for the UDLMCS!
April 19-
Instead of heading South again the #15 finally
got to go North to East Alabama Motor Speedway with
the UDLMCS. A fast a furious high banked 3/8 mile track.
Another great car count of 47 competing for 28
spots for the feature. The #15 started twenty eighth and
finished the 50 lap feature 15th.

May 3 for the UDLMCS!

May 3-
The #15 didn't have far to travel this weekend for
the UDLMCS at North Florida Speedway in Lake City.
Another great car count of 40 latemodels. The #15
started the first heat race of eight cars in the seventh
position for the 8 laps finishing fifth.
Transferred to the consilation race of twelve cars
in the fourth position for 12 laps to finish 2nd to make
the feature. The 50 lap feature had 26 latemodels with the
#15 starting eighteenth and finished fifteenth.
The next UDLMCS race will be June 6 at Ocala
Speedway for the 100 lap 13th Annual Powell Memorial!

Saturday night show May 24th!
